Reebok FloatRide 6000 VS Reebok Forever FLOATRIDE ENERGY Performance Comparison

The Reebok FloatRide 6000 is the spring season products of 2018. The appearance of stripe vamp and blackish green colorway is more fashion than Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy.

The insole of Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy uses a full piece of FloatRide material without extra configuration. It has 10mm difference of level.

FloatRide is a kind of foam that is made of TPE. It’s similar to BOOST insole, but the weight is lighter.

Performance Review:
Reebok FloatRide 6000


Reebok FloatRide 6000’s integrated vamp fit the foot well, and it also offers enough moving space for forefoot. The Ultraknit vamp of Reebok FloatRide 6000 is stiffer than the mesh vamp of Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy. So it’s not more comfortable than Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy. But the air permeability is good.


The 211g Reebok FloatRide 6000 running shoes is very light. The cushion feedback of FloatRide insole is fast. The stiff TPU on the two sides of forefoot has supporting effect to avoid the deformation of insole and reduce the resilient time. But I think that the cushion material of Reebok FloatRide 6000 is not enough. It’s not enough for long distance running.


The surround TPU on the shoe heel of Reebok FloatRide 6000 can assure good stability.
Anyway, Reebok FloatRide 6000 is fashion running shoes. But the stiff vamp makes it only can be a pair of casual jogging shoes.
Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy


The appearance of Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy is quite normal. It uses mesh vamp, FloatRide insole and carbon rubber outsole. There is nothing special part. The mesh vamp of of Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy is soft and ventilated. The comfort level of of Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy is better than Reebok FloatRide 6000.

There is a raised part on the arch of Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy can offer the supporting performance. For long distance running, it can postpone the feeling of fatigue.


Reebok Forever FloatRide Energy uses more insole material than Reebok FloatRide 6000. After adjusting, the cushion feedback is more obvious. Moreover, the resilient sustainable capacity is stronger than other normal insole material in the market.
